85 CC DS Braking issues
So my 85 DS breaks good but it feels like when I press on the brake pedal it pumps soft brakes slow then it just stops on a dime. I put new pads on it and adjusted it also. I just need to figure out how to make not pump. I know the brakes are not liquid filled so what else could it be?

If it's lifted, it could be axle wrap. Check the u-bolts for stretching or bending.

I can see that as a problem, but I took it in for repair and the guys took it upon themselves to adjust my brakes. Before they did this, they worked but not so great. So it is something they did i guess.

I bet your cart is lifted and the brake cables are too small now. So when you hit the brake the rear end pitches forward a little and then the cable grabs the caliper and it locks up the wheels. The real fix is going to a longer cable

It is lifted, I will check the cable this evening. How can I tell if it is to small or short?

The sliders on the brake shoes may be stuck.
