Re: CC Prec. 48v, 4g wires and Solenoid Install
Seems high, Im on the waning end of a DIY cable motor controller solenoid repaint, re upholster job. The installing is easy even with some light drilling. The hard part is the scratching head saying where does the yellow wire go when theres no mention of it. For a solenoid and wire swap, other than being in a possibly confined space, thats alot, but price is subjective. Some pay others do to stuff to avoid the headache and grease under their nails. Drop a motor on a thumb and the price will seem much more reasonable to have others do it :(

That's high. I've got to install an XCT500 and a 2 gauge cable set on a Precedent that I haven't even made yet. It's gotta be ready by 5 PM and I haven't even started yet. It's almost 2 o clock here and It'll be ready by 5. There's no reason a cart shop shouldn't be able to do it in a decent amount of time.

I agree with you all... he said 6 hours to do it... Wow this guys is slow.... Even still if I knew it would have been $240 I would have done it myself...
So I send my sister in law over (she works next door) to see whats done on the cart and this is what she sends me... look where they put the key switch and the light switch and the indicator... Has anyone seen it in this location? |

I'm sorry - he's a moron, please show us his 6 hour solenoid mount.
Your argument might be that you don't feel you should have to pay for him to learn how to modify golf carts. Seriously 6 hours to shift a hole over 1/4 inch ? |

If he knows "what" hes' doing, he should be able to give you a reasonable idea of cost, prior to getting the OK to proceed. It's always a good idea to get an estimate, prior to the OK of any work...if he's any kind of business man, he'll stand behind his estimate...
