At this point your WAG is as good as mine I guess...

I seem to recall charging my cart with the Tow/Run switch in Tow before though....

I'd recommend getting the cart on the charger soon and keeping an eye on as no matter how you try and slice it 8.0 volts is less than 50 % SOC and near death...
