2011 Precedent power problem
I got my cart out to get ready for the beach in a few weeks and took it out for a ride around the neighbor hood. Starts off fine for about 10 feet than goes in limp mode, 8 mph if that. I checked batteries total pack and by them self, they are all good. So I did the test on the speed sensor, key on, brake off, and tried to push it, brake came on with the buzzer came too. So, does this mean the speed sensor is good? I removed it to check, nothing on it so I replaced it and took another test ride. It took off strong for about 200 feet than it would kinda cut in and out. Any help guys? Thanks!

Re: 2011 Precedent power problem
Double check your batteries...sounds like you might have a bad battery in the mix...use a volt-meter to read the voltage in each battery...they should be equal but whatever they are...report back. You do not have to remove any wiring for this test...just hook your meter to each battery and read the voltage.

Checked batteries total pack is 50.2 and all others check at 8.4 ever one. Thanks!

Take your speed sensor out and clean it.

Re: 2011 Precedent power problem
Bad speed sensor, everything is good now. I used this problem with the wife to replace the motor with PLUM QUICK Bandit motor. Since Rick is close, I drove down there today and picked one up, WOW! For the money you can't beat it this upgrade, thanks guys.
