1996 club car ds electrical trouble shooting
Hello I'm new to carts and this forum but I'm having trouble with a club car ds. I have a 1996 club car ds 48 volt the serial number is A9601 480176. The controller was bad and I replaced it with Scotty B's 500 amp controller and solenoid, and now it will run full speed without the pedal being depressed as soon as power is connected to the cart. It does this in foward and reverse. Any suggestions would be greatly apperaciated.

What does it do when the GO pedal is depressed? Does it continue to run or does it stop?

I didn't try that because it was running all out so I disconnected it. I didn't want to damage anything.
