Quick question about paint color and type for club car precedent
I just recently purchased an "08" Precedent and the black plastic bumpers need to be repainted. The guy who sold it to me said he used Krylon when refurbing carts and I was wondering what color and type of Krylon would be the best. Any suggestions?

Are the bumpers faded? Are you happy with them being black or are you wanting to change them to another color. You can paint the black under body bumpers but it does take some time to prep them properly and if they are not prepped correctly, it doesn't matter what you use for paint it will flake off and look awful. Maybe post a picture of the condition of your bumpers. I have attached a before and after picture. The bumpers come in looking like they do on the disassembled cart and then they go out looking like the green cart. (it's actually the same cart) If your happy with them being black and I can tell you a quick trick on that and if you are interested in changing color I will give you the procedure for that! |

It's crazy that you happened to respond with this photo, because your green cart is almost exactly what I want my cart to look like when I am finished. I would like to go with a 3" lift and 12-14 inch wheels. Anyhow, the bumpers are faded pretty bad. I will post a pic later today when I get home from work. I plan on upgrading slowly small sections at a time, because I play golf once a week and need to keep my cart up and running. Stay tuned for pics. |

Also, what wheels and tires are you running on that green cart and where do I get them? Thanks for your help. |

Then the big secret is tire shine. We use Gunk tire shine on all of our carts during the detailing process. The bumpers will come up like new, we use it on all of the black plastic parts, looks great and works really well, no wiping either. As far as the tire and wheel package we are a dealer for them, I will PM you the price for that exact package. |

Any reason why more people don't paint the bumpers the color they paint the body? I don't see it often.

Also some people think it's to much color, personally we like it a lot! |
