I didn't check the link. At 120 watts, whats the advantage over my 110 watt bulbs, that are proven???

I'd love to light up the road ahead of me at less wattage, but...

This is what I'm about to order for my "high" beams.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CREE-LED-Lig...60681577736%26

At 1000 lumens each, & a 30° spot beam, they should blow 55 watt halogens away. The brighter white light output really makes a difference. I've currently got 3 150 lumen flashlight heads wired in series hooked to 12 volts (each one used 3 AAA batts) that will blow away the 55 watt lights that were on this cart when I got it, & they pull very little current. I'm going to move them to the middle of the light bar I built, aimed down for my "low" beams, then put one of these eBay spots at each end of the bar, aimed higher for my "high" beams. I'm planning on having two switches, so I can run all of them if needed.

Here is what is am considering. These styles come as either 60 degree flood or 30 degree spot beam. I am thinking getting the 30 degree spots to simulate headlight beams? They are sold as singles so have to order 2 but with free shipping price is right and the reviews look positive. What do you think spot or flood? Sound extremely bright lumen output too...

Where did you get them? Make and model would be helpful. I'm gonna give 'em a try.

Is 27 watts each or both?

I have some basic fog lights that originally used H3 55w halogen bulbs similar to the OP. You can get LED bulbs to retrofit about any style of light. I got a cheap set of ebay of H3 36 SMD LED bulbs. They are a direct swap out.

They only put out about half the light of the 55w Halogen but they only draw about 3 watts total. Since I only use my cart mostly for hunting and always off road this was not a big deal to me.

You can get the H3 LED with more SMD's and I may order again and go back with at least 68 per bulb which would be plenty for my needs.
