I'm looking to get more power and speed out of my 07 electric ezgo. Looking for any suggestions you could offer.

I have the same. First call Scotty at carts unlimited a sponsor he will guide you right he helps all of us on here. My setup is overkill but its great, 600 alltrax controller, 2 ga cables, 48 v, 8 , 6 v deka gc45 batts, easy 30 miles of travel with 60% pack left. Plum quick custom PDS speed motor. 30 mph and more. Jakes long travel lift and 22x10x10 tires.
Now with that said a 400 amp controller at 48 v and 4 better 2 ga. Welding wire cables and stock motor is a great set up. If you have a PDS its cheaper to get more speed then a series cart. Hope this helps. |

Re: Performance upgrades
to do it right......you should upgrade you entire power delivery system.
what type do you have? if you are not sure, check out this thread and report back and we can point you in the right direction. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...en-system.html oh and btw....do you have larger wheels/tires on your cart or stock height tires? |

Re: Performance upgrades
next question......do you primarily use the cart on the street, or off road, and is the terrain flat, hilly, or REAL hilly?

Re: Performance upgrades
I use the cart mainly on the street with some off road nothing major. I live at the bottom of 2 hills that are more long than steep. But once I get up them the area is pretty flat.

Re: Performance upgrades
Most people are quite happy with pkg # 808 = 35% more torque and 24mph speed

Re: Performance upgrades
Scotty do you need to look at bigger cables when you get that package? The previous owner of my cart put some upgrades on it but not sure the cable size is there an easy way to figure that out?
