Cool 2 Foot thats it?

OK need some help we have a 2004 EZGO TXT PDS 36 volt cart that we just got and it ran fine for awhile and the last time we charged it. Now it only goes about 2 foot and stops. Front or back! Hearing what sounds like the solinoid but nothing else! So What could it be?

What is the battery pack voltage?
How often do you charge the batteries?
Does it stop completely, or just slow to a crawl?
Does anything get hot?

The solenoid may be bad ..... he might be getting 2 ft of travel on the precharge.

It would help to know if this is a series or PDS drive?

Remove the resistor on the solenoid and let us know if the cart runs 2 ft more than one time....
