I bought one from a local ezgo distributor, he had both kinds, and although they had the aluminum ones, its been a LONG time since anyone bought one.

Thanks. Yeah, I've treated the one in there twice now, but it was just as bad again when I switched batteries, so I want to get it sorted before it gives out on me.

Ebay has a couple shown every day. I installed the aluminum one Crash Test showed. Before you install it, especially the aluminum one, clean and repaint the frame it will attach to. Remember, dis-similar metals cause a corrosive reaction, (electrolysis). A good heavy coat of paint on the steel frame will help to prevent that.

Thx. After cleanup, I use a rust "transformer" as opposed to paint. If I go Alu, I'll do that first..
