Default electric turf gator

have a electric turf gator that starts discharging soon as the charger shuts off, if you charge it & unplug the charger it will hold a charge. leave it plug it over night it will show dead. plug the charger in for 15-20 minutes in the a.m. & it will show full charge. just started doing this the last couple months. any ideas where to look?

Possibly a partially shorted diode in your charger. That would allow current to flow back through the transformer. It should really blow the fuse, though!

Sounds like you have a LED bar-graph type SoC meter and are using it to determine SoC.

That type SoC meter tells more lies than politicians.
Replace it with a DVM type or even an old analog type.

In the interim, check the batteries with a handheld DVM to determine if they are charged or not.

Don't waste your time with any meter but a scottyb one.
