Default EZGO Steering problem

Just brought home a older 36 volt-4 wheel EZGO golf cart and there is a lot of play in the steering. What is the solution for this problem?

OK Thanks-I think I will start with the Steering rack first and go from there.

Check all tie-rod ends, too. I had one cart that was awful! The rack was OK. All tie-rod ends were shot....

How can you tell what is wrong with the rack? I have an 08 2+2 sport and it is real loose too. I have checked the camber and toe and set it best I can with what adjustments there are. All seemed okay, but the rack has some play I can see the bolt not reacting for about 1/4 inch prior to moving from wheel input. I can’t see how to fix or adjust that?
