2007 yamaha electric
The cart will not move when you press the petal. You can hear the solenoid click, If you hold petal down and give it a lil push it will start going slowly and pick up to normal speed. Is this a controller issue? Cart has new batteries last year. Or is there a capacitor prior to the motor to help the motor get going?

Re: 2007 yamaha electric
When you say "push it alittle" it leads me to believe a motor problem. Any "burnt smell" around the motor? First, put the run /tow switch in tow for 5 minutes. Some time "restetting" the controller will clear a fault. Well not clear it, but the controller has a chance to start fresh.

Re: 2007 yamaha electric
Very similar to my experience a couple of weeks ago. Brushes were bad and motor armature was fried. If you don't have a nasty, lingering smell, you may be lucky with only brushes...Jim
