Default Yamaha G29 48v Troubleshooting???

I've seen several post about it but they kind of skip around and are not really helping me. I have a Yamaha g29 48 v, that will absolutely not do anything, no click ,no reverse buzzer,no nothing. Where is a good place to start to troubleshoot?

Get a wiring diagram. Get a DVM. Make sure your Run/Tow switch is on. Look for blown fuses. Always start by measuring your battery voltages. You gave us no info at all to help you with.

Okay well it has 49 volts, tow run switch is on and is good, key switch tested bad but I bypassed it and still nothing, forward reverse switch is showing that the reverse is bad but still get connection in forward , By passed the switch for reverse and still no buzzer or any thing, this is all stuff I just found out after i posted the first one, the other day I put another solenoid on it but that was before I found the key switch and stuff and I have since put the old one back on, how many fuses are there,I'm only seeing one that's by the driver side rear tire

There is a 3 amp fuse between the solenoid and the run/tow switch on the wiring diagram. If you don't have one go to the Yamaha site and download the YDRE manual. By the way, 49V is very low. You should charge your batteries ASAP.

With the run/tow switch on you should have full battery voltage on both terminals relative to the battery minus. Measure that with your meter.

Yes it has 48 volts on both sides of the switch, and there's no fuse between them

The key switch should also have 48V on both sides relative to the battery minus when the key is on. Also, try pushing the cart. The buzzer should beep and the cart should resist pushing if the run/tow switch is on.

It's starting to sound like a controller failure since you have no reverse buzzer or resistance when you push it. (and you have voltage after the key switch) Do get a good charge on your batteries though.

What is the history of this cart? Was it working yesterday and just stopped working? Have you made any changes to it that could affect it working?
