Oh okay. Have you checked continuity from between the switch terminals of the wiring harness itself? With the switch and controller disconnected

No. I have not checked the wire harness. You're suggesting a possible short somewhere?
I will check this hopefully Monday Feb. 5th, probably Tuesday Feb 6th, and let you know the results. |

I would think, most likely, in the circuit to the accelerator pedal switch.
