Re: Question
Your controller is set too low. You SHOULD be able to just unplug the charger and jump on it.
You need to get the solenoid to click first. A series cart should be able to take pressing the pedal down and up all day long. Since the linkage from the throttle pedal to the throttle microswitch is mechanical, I guess slamming it over and over might have damaged it. Check that first. If that's OK, the next thing I'd check is the reed switch, not for anything they may have done, but just because they will fail, eventually. Finally the last thing to check is the Molex, attached. Those are the "low hanging fruit" since it used to work, until they got a hold of it. Information that was not given to us, so we could help you. You also have an ITS problem, so... How 'bout telling us a little more, from the beginning. Did it used to work? Are you a new owner? Answer the question posed earlier, but never answered. |

Re: Question
Go to the Stickies and download the Service manual, go to chapter E, and go through the troubleshooting flow chart.

I have had the cart 2 years. It’s a rebuilt ez go I haven’t been able to find a serial number on it. New body top, altraxx controller, wiring, amd motor, lift etc. I don’t know much about them but trying to learn. Yes it was just fine prior to them getting on it. The reason I didn’t state that initially was I didn’t know. I just found out today when my wife got home and found me testing different things on it and she told me. |

Re: Question
No problem. BTW, ignore the "Ignore" post. Once you post, you can't delete, so you have to edit. I often use "...", but didn't want to confuse you, as that sometimes means other things.

Re: Question
Well that was easy....open the cover for the ITS
Just a fluke I guess, the end of the mechanical plunger fell off unscrewed. Just a coincidence luckily didn’t happen miles back in the woods. Thanks for the help and the link to repair manual! |

Re: Question
That alone wouldn't account for no solenoid click, unless it somehow fell into the microswitch.

Re: Question
Take a good look at the now detached plunger. It has an hexhead set screw, which may be missing? When you screw the plunger back onto the rod leave it about 3/16 - 1/4 inch away from the tunnel at rest and tighten the set screw.
