Default Mocor cuts out passed 3/4 throttle

I have a 2004 club car DS and I recently put a speed sensor on it because it was doing over regeneration after I did that it would not go past three-quarter throttle on the pedal or the solenoid would kick out and if you let up all the way on the pedal push it back down it’ll go again until you get past three-quarter and it shuts off I’ve had three different mocor’s on it and they all do the same thing. A friend said a solenoid may be weak but even under no load with it jacked up it cuts out at three-quarter. the controller is been replaced on it with the factory one cables are new and the batteries are less than a year old any advice? Someone else said said brushes in the motor may be bad

Need to check the battery pack voltage at the solenoid while its driving and see how low the pack voltage is dropping. Sounds like a bad battery or poor cable connection.

FT, could the MCOR be out of whack and it's throwing the controller into shutdown mode?

Possible? Maybe if its three chinese MCORs from BU or Ebay.

Checking voltage is free, and easy, and step 1 no matter what the problem is. Bad connection, bad voltage, cart don't work right. Takes all of 20 seconds to check and make sure that's not the problem, before blaming other parts or spending money swapping potentially good parts for cheapo reverse engineered aftermarket part.

Absolutely I will check the voltage at rest and under a load. The oem mocor and both the Chinese ones do the same thing
