Default Rear Tire Rubbing

I have a 2016 CC Precedent with a 6 inch lift with 23" tires on 14" wheels. I noticed when carrying 2 riders with one on the backseat it sounds like a tire rubbing on the rear when I make a turn left or right. When going straight it doesn't do this. Not sure but maybe the little piece of plastic catching on the inside rear fender wells. Anyone else had that issue.

Default Rear Tire Rubbing

Yep. Same cart, same lift, same tires.

There is about 2” of plastic lip I plan to trim off.

HD springs will also eliminate the scrubbing

Upgrade your springs.. the stock springs were never meant to carry that much weight

There’s a lot of plastic on the newer Precedent rear tire wells. I have 4” of clearance up top, but towards the front of the wheel well, its much less. Mine will scrub(touch) on certain turns, with a couple kids riding in the back.

I’d rather reshape some of the trim pieces than change the ride quality with HD springs.

Dual rate springs are an option versus HD.
