Re: 13 hp Kawasaki performance
Is there any performance upgrades for the 13 hp Kawasaki? Air intake, exhaust, performance clutch?

Re: 13 hp Kawasaki performance
Hello Seacare,
I don't know the Kawa / Golfcartscene, but if no answer look at a racecartshop.(Where they sell things like mine They will have all kinds of stuff or can build it. Overhere we have GX 390 watercooled with 30 HP on the wheels..... Honda V engines wit up to 50 HP...... Basic things are: KN filter plus bigger carb, steel rods, bearings in the rods, stronger valvesprings, bigger valves, porting / polishing bigger exhaust and centrifugallubrication if no oilpump. I think your Kawa has a oilpump, a GX doesn't. Good search and think also of the safetypart! Even my racekart kann roll over..... Benno |

I was tasked with adjusted the governor on a car today to bump it up from 13mph to around 20mph. In the process of adjusting the governor, I got it a little high, and before I could lift on the gas pedal I GPS'd the speed at 28mph and climbing. So yes, it is possible with nothing but governor adjustments for an FJ400 car to hit 30mph and up. My best guess is 35mph is where it's going to top out/blow up. This was on an FJ400 2010 ST Express six passenger with 23x10.5-12 wheels and a lift kit. |
