EZGO 295 misfire/stutter at WOT?
Hey...first time post and new to the golf cart world. I have a 96 TXT with the 295 engine and it has a misfire or stutter only at WOT? Carb cleaned, valves adjusted...actually runs good just not when at full throttle. Not sure if its pre-det but it almost seems electrical or wiring.....coil? Doesn't do it all the time either. Any thoughts or insight is welcome....Thx!

19-20 mph.....but it does it no matter the top speed. If I set it for 15mph it still does it if the pedal is floored.

My first inclination is the ingnitor is killing spark at the rev limit...19-20 stock and you will be there. If you adjust the governor to 15, you should never see the rev limit, so that part doesn't make sense.

My only other thought would be that you are running out of gas in the carb bowl faster than the pump is putting it in. Fuel pump may be going bad or the bowl float is out of adjustment.
