Hits Hard?
Bought another TXT today, had about 12 so far but this is the first one I had that when you step on the gas the clutch engages fast and hard, almost like shifting from forward to reverse, any ideas?

Re: Hits Hard?
What year is the cart??? EZGO had some late 2003, early 2004 TXT gassers that had the wrong weights/springs in the drive clutch, they had a late harsh engagement.. My '04 had one, it would give ya a case of whiplash when it slammed into gear..

Re: Hits Hard?
Would a 28 clutch fix this problem, and give it a little extra on the hills, or is it better to just fix the clutch?

Re: Hits Hard?
Throw the clutch on the trash and get a new drive clutch.
A 28 degree is the driven clutch - Stove's problem is the drive clutch. Yes a 28 would help all around, though |
