Re: Running
did it do this prior to controller install. If so, you may have to check wires on motor.

Re: Running
One more thing if you look at the wiring diagram it has two different one one shows the cable form B+ to the f/r switch A at the top and another one shows A at the bottom which one do I go by.

Re: Running
A goes to the bottom. C to the top. B towards the batteries and D towards the outside of the cart.
The GE doesn't use the half speed reverse so I'm not sure what would be causing this issue. You said you used the converter for the GE, is it possible that somehow the red and orange wires got crossed up? |

Re: Running
Ok changed everything around. Did check the wires none crossed. Still no luck however it still did not hardly go forward or reverse, I pulled the orange wire from MS4 and it was fast. Still no go in forward. I put the A to B+,the B to A1, the C to A2 and the D to S2. It seems like it wants to take of fast then dosen't. Can the ITs adapter be bypassed and hooked straight to the controller with out the orange wire and if so which wires would go were. Red,White,Black

Re: Running
no, unfortunately the ITS adapter can't be bypassed because that controller will not recognize the signal from the ITS without it.
Flight Systems INC is the largest supplier of the GE controller that you have. I would suggest making a phone call to their tech department on this one. Personally I am thinking a bad ITS converter, but it could be a couple of other things as well. |
