2003 ezgo all kinds of weirdness going on

I have a 2003 ezgo used for our nursery on a daily basis, we just replaced all the batteries last year after some trouble with them, a few days ago the cart stopped working, thinking it was a battery connection we just replaced that as it was alittle lose. put it on a charge today and came back to find it worked, backed it up all of three feet out of the garage and put it in forward. Drove for another foot and it stopped and you could feel the motor almost shaking and acting like it wanted to go. Now when you press on the gas it a light noise from the motor is all that is heard. And you can also hear the solenoid click when pressing on the gas
We are at a loss and have looked everywhere for the answers but nothing to be found any help would be great

Sounds a little like you still have at least one bad battery or cable in the pack. Check/tug on all cables and check individual voltages. Battery(ies) may show good voltage at rest but then drop out when loaded.

forgot to add one thing....in all times past when i plug my cart in the meter goes up to about 15 when charging, now when i plug it in stays on 0

i will get to checking all the batteries again, how long should these batteries really last like i stated these are now a year old
and if the battery shows its good when at rest how can you check when its loaded?

One of the batts may have a dead short in it, remove all of your batt cables and check the battery levels of each one, let us know. What kind of cart do you have, PDS or TXT. PDS will have a fnr switch on dash and TXT will have a fnr handle by your legs.

I suspect all the cables are old and corroded

I have yet to see one cable in a set go bad while the others remain good ... Honestly. In 1 yr? Likely those cables were not replaced when the new batteries went in .... IF So the charge cables may not be getting a solid connection either ?

How's my guess? Way off base

well i got it all to work, the ezgo is a TXT and one cable was alittle bad looking so i replaced that cable and all is good.
