battery post came out
I have a 36 volt ezgo, I have just had no problems with it so I just sit back and read everyones post and try to learn from your experience. Any way I was cleanind battery terminals and a negetive terminal came out of battery. Almost like it was un soldered. The battery and whole pack are about three years old (us battery) Somewhere I read possibly it was gorno-man did a repair by derilling and tapping a new stud in battery.I tried to search threads but had no luck. By the way just a temporary fix trying to make Suwannee Music Park in two weeks the going to the 48 volt conversion. Thanks for help...Sorry for long post.

Re: battery post came out
I will post pics tomorrow, while I do the repair, its wierd nothing is actually melted, it seems like there is an upside down bolt that was soldered in at the factory( the actual post) that has worked loose... it is not completely out, but not making any solid connection, just caught it on the routine inspection.

Re: battery post came out
I did the successful repair of the bad terminal it worked great. I did opt to go to a 3/8 x 16 stud, it was free so I couldnt see any cons. I do not see any where that it actually got really hot, no melting or splatter evident, when I pulled the bolt out I could actually still read the imprint in the cast from the bolt head.I am guessing it is a fluke, or factory defect, but I dont know, Please advise if any thoughts on this. I did a full check on all connections and no other problems.
