An unbalanced string will try to balance itself. It's like installing 5 new batteries and 1 old battery in a string. As the old battery weakens, the new batteries will try to fill the void. This puts stress on the whole string.
You may be OK for awhile, but, eventually you lose. |

I totally agree. But in the business world customers are always right, no matter what you tell them. they have always found something on the internet telling them to do it.
This goes for batteries also. people think that a sam's battery is the same as a trojan but with a different color. We know there is a difference in them. |

Yep...the customer is always right. It's the customer's money. But, I'd advise the correct approach and explain the effects on the warranty. Then do as they like as long as safety not an issue.
