Fwd wire (green) hot from controller

I just replaced the controller on an 07 TXT PDS...in the course of diag. the controller failure I found pin 3 (fwd feed from f-n-r switch) of harness J1 was hot from the control box when cart was in reverse, even when disconnected from switch. EZ go tech said "bad logic board" replace controller. I did and cart works fine but this wire is still hot..i have checked it right at the box and even replaced the wire and its always hot. the ez go tech and i agree there is an error in the exzgo schematics and testing manual...problem is we can't explain it. don't wanna ruin anoter control box..suggestions?

thanks to lots of effort by guys at ez-go got the answer. They went to the engineer of the control box itself. In certain sofware versions..the hot (in rev.) orange wire coupled with the hot (green fwd. wire) gives you reverse.
