Default Proper mounting of a 36v charger ...???

I was told that it is best to "hang my charger" from the ceiling rather than the wall mount which it currently is....... There are 2 wall mount tabs on the back of it and a heavy duty carrying handle ........ Any thoughts?

As long as the wall mount configuration leaves a gap between the back of the charger and the wall itself, it will be fine.

Heat rises.

Just make sure how you mount it you have adaquete air space around the charger.

Also what kind/type of charger are we talking about here?

I drilled a hole in my handle and hung it from my garage door opener bracket.

No need to keep it off the floor, it's just that you CAN get it up out of the dirt stream. Another benefit is not tripping over it or the cords.
