ME too
Rabbit, I would like to hear more about Ezgo vs Trojan. I know you have been telling for as long as you have been here that Ezgo & Curtis worked together to set the limits for the bar meters we see in Ezgo Carts.... |

Re: SOC Meter Testing or Why I Distrust LED Bar Meters
I'm having a hard time with the fact that E-Z-GO kept telling us it was Trojan demanding these discharge tests! From the data you are posting it would appear to me that I was constantly being lied to and that regardless of the battery, the discharge machine is doing destructive dameage to a battery pack..... I love my discharge machine, but if the batteries are not supposed to be drawn down to that level of charge I am stumped as to how we are supposed to determine a bad battery anymore.

Re: SOC Meter Testing or Why I Distrust LED Bar Meters
This is typical of industry to produce something and even after training ~ Leaving us with lots of questions ...
Maybe the discharge machine is a necessary evil ? Sort of like an EKG test. My buddy thought he would die on that. Seriously... If you think you have a bad battery ~ we discharge test. That is different because you are not going to discharge test often. I think here what the tech and I were talking about was optimum user limits for draw down and recharge. |
