testing starter/gen?
my carts been running fine. parked it about 2 weekends ago just went to run it and it wont turn over. the solinoid is good all the micro switches are good. i checked voltage to the starter im getting 12 volts to the starter each time the pedal is pressed down but nothing from the starter. is there a way to test it? not sure whats going on with it....

nm found the thread i was looking for. sounds like my brushes are wiped out or a wire has vibrated loose. it is a 91 cart and i do give it hell on the weekends so the vibration could of done a number on wires inside.

it has rubber inspection covers so you can check brushes without pulling it.....pull a few covers see what the brushes look like.........................
