I just took off the lever. Then later went inside to remove parts, thinking the gov. washers were getting ready to explode, and break the case and gears as they went. Found my metallic rattle was loose parts because I didn't go back and retighten everything from the initial build. Should've listened to "Master Block", cause he said that wouldn't be the source of the rattle! And of course he was right!!

Oh well, wanted to go in there anyway!!

Gov. from the tranny was the best way to govern speed to 12 MPH, when going up and down hills. Thats why they do it from there.

When you bypass the gov., you have to listen for over reving the motor, especially down hill!! Or you will have breakage!!

Now that your tears are drying up should I remove govoner from tranny?

Mr T, no, I would not waste the time in removing the gov.... Wait, I can't stop laughing!! Sorry, just kidding! We all do silly things! That just had to sound very serious! Surprised you didn't stop to find it sooner.

I'd just remove the lever from the tranny, don't need to secure the shaft from turning or anything, just let it float!
