Default G2 - Dabg, Still not clear on Spacer for Torque Kit

Everything I have read says throw away existing snap ring - OK - no problem.

Is the spacer in the kit added to my old existing spacer, or does it replace my old spacer? In other words, when I'm done, will I have one spacer or two?

Subject line should read "dang". (12 hr night shift)

Thanks, Trent

Remove the original spacer,Install the new one,it replaces the original and the snap-ring.

Snap ring will break with a larger spring in the secondary. It might eventually break after this many years behind the stock clutch. Mine is still on there, I have a spacer but not put it on yet. Mine is actually bent over lol (w/stock spring). I plan to machine the sheave soon here and don't really run it much in the winter anyway, mostly working on it so its ready for summer. It was fun in the snow however.

The clutch needs to sit in the same spot, so you have to remove the snap ring to make that happen with the spacer. It sits on the splines instead of the groove.
