2 stroke or 4 stroke?
Did it idle before?
Or is it turning over and not starting?

When you say idling do you mean when your pressing on the pedal it is idling.
or it is idling with out pressing on the pedal?

"Think" it's a 4 stroke? Let's hop you don't have a 2 stroke needing mixed gas / oil!!!

First guess with only a little info to go by: you broke your throttle cable.

Is the engine actually running or just the starter/generator turning over? Your pedal switch will allow the starter/generator to turn over and make it sound as though the cart is running. Or, is the engine actually firing and the cart just not moving? If this is the case then you may have a clutch or drive belt problem. If you have too, get us a picture of the engine compartment so we can see if there is any damage anywhere.
