Default Fuel leaking from G2 carb.

Hello every one,
I finally got a batt and new belts for my G2 golf cart but now after I floor it and then let off on the top of the carb there is a little whole on top of the carb and is dumping fuel out and then it is difficult to start afterwards. What is this whole and why is it letting fuel leak out?
Thanks,
Nick

Which one is it? You should have two: jet pilot toward the front of the cart and pilot adjusting screw toward the rear. I had the pilot adjusting screw come out of my G9 and I simply got another metric screw that was about 1/8 inch long if I remember right (it was small) and tightened it down. Never had another problem and the cart ran fine.

Needle valve in the carb probably needs replacing. http://www.tntgolfcar.com/yamparts.php?diagramid=534

Would that cause fuel to come out of one of the holes in the Carb body. " When I cover the whole with my finger to stop the flow of fuel it won't start at all.

Order a carburetor kit and replace the needle valve and possibly the float. I had a carburetor do the same thing...pump fuel all over the place due to the needle valve not seating correctly.
