Default 3 12volt battery maintainers to maintain 36v Golf cart

I already own 3 Batteryminder 2012 battery battery maintainers. The 36v battery charger that came with my cart is pretty crude and just charges on a timer.

I would like to use the battery maintainers to maintain the 6 6volt batteries. I know I can use the battery maintainers to maintains 2 pairs of 6volt batteries in series. However, does anyone know if I can cause harm by leaving all 6 batteries connected in series in the golf cart, while I have a maintainer hooked up to each 12volt pair?

Once the batteries were charged they could maintain them but won’t have enough current to charge them.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know if it is okay to leave batteries hooked up to each other in the cart while the 3 12volt maintainers are connected, or do I need to disconnect the batteries from each other before connecting the maintainers?

It should be fine but not every maintainer is the same check for issues once you have connected them.

Check that the maintainers outputs are isolated from their power supply. IF they are, you should be able to hook them up on each battery without disconnecting them from each other. If they have a ground wire going to the 110V, make sure that the output wires are both isolated from the ground wire!

Thanks so much for the replies everyone. Did not know about the isolation issue, so researched it further. Based on search terms from your comments, I was able to find a post from someone who did something similar to what I'm trying to do:
I will report back once I have the maintainers hooked up and working for the rest of the winter
