Question A few questions Club Car.

I need some information. I got everything running and starts ok. I just need to get some lug nuts.

- What size are the lug nuts for a 96 Club Car (year may not have anything)

- Does the Airbox just how much air gets in there. Cause now I hit the gas and dies cause to much air goes in there. I cover the air hose with my hand and it starts and revs. So, does the airbox play a huge roll?

- Last thing. I have to start the cart in Neutral then put it in F to go? The
plastic peice keeps moving so Im afraid It wont push the button in for F-N-R.
How can I fix that. Thanks to anyone that can answer these. Im going to
get the lugs tomarrow and video record the first drive. Thanks again.

I think they are 13/16", but I would have to go check to be sure.

The air box plays a HUGE role in the intake system.

Pull out the yellow cam and turn it 1/3 of a turn, and then let it fall back into place. I bet you have it in maintenance mode.

The lug nuts on my 98 were 1/2"

The airbox plays a HUGE roll on how it runs... I modified mine, and ended up replacing it back to stock because it ran like crap!

do you have an air filter in?
and are there baffles in the bottom of your air box?
(a screw in plastic plate that has a funnel(s) like thing molded into it!)

as for the F/N/R...
The yellow dial with the micro switches, on the back of the shifter keeps turning?
it's supposed to be spring activated, pull it away, turn 180, and should pop back into place...

Are the lug nuts course or fine thread. Metric or Standard? I tried metric but
the tread wasn't course, it was finer. So I got fine thread and was too fine.

There is no way they were 1/2" nuts. The lug studs are bigger than that.
I do not have a filter in the one you're getting. I am aware of what the baffles are. And yes, they are in there too.

The last part is just a statement, I don't know what you are asking. 1/3 of a turn, not half a turn. That's 120.

Take one nut off of an existing rim... go to an auto parts store and they'll find them for you!
Now that I think of it... the lug nuts I bought (3 months ago)
could have been 12mm X 1.25... But don't quote me on that!
I could swear they were SAE fine thread, not metric!

Aaron...
I was directing my post to EzGo Electric about the air box!...
YOUR the one that told me about the baffles!
I thought that might be something he could check if his cart is getting too much air!

And, you may be right... the F/N/R might be 120, and NOT 180... (I was close!)
BTW... I didn't know EzGo had NO airbox, and was getting one from you!

I'll shut up now....

I just checked while I was at the shop putting a starter on, and the lug nuts are 3/4".

Yes, Don, I remember telling you about the baffles. I also remember forgetting that you had the new style intake.
