Hello G8 folks! Did a search... No specific answer provided 🙁
Can you get longer HD spring-shocks (approx 2"+/-) for 20x10x10's without having to use a lift kit? Thanks for any help!

for the back yes... front, not without still having to buy a lift kit to modify a arm angles for camber. I just lifted my g8 and decided on using the spacers from a 4" kit for the rear and the 6" a arm kit for the front and the result is a more level cart with the rear still being about a half an inch higher than the front.

I have 20" tires and honestly wish I either had a smaller lift kit or 22" tires.. they dont fill out the wheel wells as much as I hoped.
If they made a 3" lift kit for 20" tires it would be perfect. the g8 lift kits are interchangeable with the later G11-14-16 and I believe g19 as well. some of the g2-g9 stuff is interchangeable too as I have one of those too.

Awesome info, ty! I was thinking on a 4" kit and modifying it at a 2-3" lift.
My G8 has 4-seat setup... Think I'll still need HD spring/shocks in the rear?

Default Yamaha G8 rear seat

I'm finishing a 1992 G8A. I removed the utility bed and am looking to install a rear seat. Did they make a rear seat for this cart? Also, I need a front seat bottom (not the cushion, just the base) for this cart. Anyone have one?

Here is my G8 with a later body converted to 48 V with the do-it-yourself lithium and solar panel roof it's just about done. And ready for the campground. I think it's come a long way from the $750 golf cart it was in october when I bought it

The pics above have a Jake's clone lift on it. But I use the four inch economy lift kit rear extenders to make my cart level instead of the six inch rear section of the lyft kit
