Default Accelerator rod help

I have what I beleive to be a 1980 marathon 36v. Bought it for $150 and all I need is the accelerator rod. I can't find even a picture of it. If it is just straight I'll make one but need to know if it has any offsets in it. The one on the cart came loose before I bought it and is mangled up. Anyone know where to buy one?

Thanks for any help I can get.

Well I think there will be some small offsets in it but I'm not sure. Looks like mine fell off one end and then the cart was pushed and pulled around wading the rod up. I'll make something work. If anyone finds out I woukd appreciate the help.
