Re: Rebuilding/upgrading a 98 txt - where to start!
yes, i just ran the signal wire from the reducer to the KSI pedestal on the alltrax...i was positive that was fed right from the key switch itself...but instead is from the pedal?
I do not have a rotary switch anymore as ive converted the cart to the rocker style solenoid switches. guess ill have to bust out the voltmeter to see which one of those posts actually has key on power to trigger the reducer. |

ycis, where is the input to your reducer connected? Not the trigger wire, the main positive and negative input to it? If the positive wire is after the solenoid, it won't matter where you have your blue wire connected as it won't have power till the solenoid clicks.

Re: Rebuilding/upgrading a 98 txt - where to start!
i have the main power to the reducer coming off the charging leads actually (the reducer is right there in the empty space below the drivers seat)..so for all intents and purposes they are connected right to the +/- battery terminals.

Re: Rebuilding/upgrading a 98 txt - where to start!
finally fixed this and just tapped in yet another wire to the key on post (its so very ghetto as its literally a double post coming off the existing double post...but it works for now).
if i ever take the dash apart again ill rewire it properly! thanks for the suggestions! cart is finally 100% done! |
