Lizardman,...Where in the heck are you getting those batteries. The normal price for a new T1275 is $200 each plus the returned core. Those have to be used batteries. They don't give away new batteries for that price.

Ok, I just got back from picking up 4 brand new Trojan 1275's for $500 and a digital volt meter for $40.

I read the stickies up above. Are there any additional secrets to assuring them long life and good charging?
Are any of the additives I have seen worth their salt or are they just snake oil?

Also, are there any helpful hints on installing the volt meter?

WOW, that is a hell of a deal on the T-1275's They go for $224ea in my neck of the woods.

A good read for battery break in.

I will read the link before connecting the batts.

The volt meter is a Curtis Model 906.

The "cart man" said that my '07 DS is basically prewired for it as I planned to install it myself. I havent even had the time to break open the dash, but could someone give me some advice on this.
