Default Cables backwards? PQ motor/A1-A2?

07 Precedent IQ. Had a stock controller and a Bandit motor. I'm replacing the stock controller with a Alltrax DCX and noticed, what appears to be, my cables were hooked up backwards on the stock controller/Bandit, which makes no sense.
A1 went to B+ then on to the solenoid
A2 went to M-

The wiring diagram for the DCX has them reversed.
A1 going to M- and
A2 going to B+ and the solenoid.

I can't find the original install instructions for the Bandit and from recollection don't recall the directions saying to reverse the A1/A2 cables

Below are the pics of the original set up.
A1 (green) to B+ then on to the solenoid
A2 (white) to M-
For reference the lugs on the controller from left to right are:
B+ (green cable) M- (White cable) and B- (various) black cables

Not yet, but you're right. I wanted to go straight to the source, but it doesn't look like they get as much traffic/visibility as BGW.

Agreed. I just hate to Robby with such a remedial question.

I, too, have a 2007 Precedent with an Alltrax 500 amp controller. It sounds to me like you're looking at the little instruction brochure that came with the controller. That brochure has the wires backwards. I sent a note to Alltrax and they said those are generic instructions (I'm assuming that's code for OOPS) and said to follow the wiring diagram on their website. That diagram is correct.
