I have a 1988 G2. What is the second plug for. Mine is unused

I don't really understand what you are asking. Do you mean you have two spark plugs? If so, it has to be an aftermarket engine. If not, explain in more detail.

On my main key switch I have two plugs. Only one is hooked up.

Could be for the factory lights or oil light.

Thanks for the information. It's not for the oil light but it may be for the factory lights. I better check it out. The only reason I had a question is I notice others don't have it. Thanks mike

Mike.. It's just an extra connector for running 12 vollts off the key switch. Good luck on you project. Later dave
