Default 93 marathon help

93 marathon will go in reverse at any throttle position but will only go forward with half pedal or less. It was fine all summer and fall. It sat for a couple weeks ( on charge so I know the batteries are good) when to put it up for the winter and found this problem any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Darrin

Default Re: 93 marathon help

HI Darrin,
That's odd because the same throttle signal is used in F&R and the same speed control etc.

There are 2 sets of wires which come from the Potentiometer (throttle position indicator & signal sending device). One set goes to the speed control and one set goes to the F&R switch. Disconnect the set from the F&R reverse micro switch and tell us if that changes the problem.
Be sure they are taped up and DO NOT touch each other or bare metal or the test will be void.
