Default Fair price for used rear end

What do you guys think a fair price for a used TXT complete rear axle would be? I need one for another project and I found one but the guy just said said make him an offer. Couple hundred bucks? I don't want to low ball him but I don't want to pay too much. Thanks

I think $200 would be fair... but some mat not think so,, it's only worth what someone will pay for it.. sorta like Pawn Stars.

If he's a friend,,,, trade with him! tell him you would rather owe it to him.. than cheat him out of it! your lucky to have someone close with something like that, you can work out a deal,, I'm sure.

Check the oil with a magnet, to make sure it's not full of metal particles.

Depending on the age, you may want to replace bearings and seals.
