Fair price for used rear end
What do you guys think a fair price for a used TXT complete rear axle would be? I need one for another project and I found one but the guy just said said make him an offer. Couple hundred bucks? I don't want to low ball him but I don't want to pay too much. Thanks

Re: Fair price for used rear end
I have never seen a used one for sale anywhere so I don't have anything to compare . I just want to be fair to both of us because he is a friend.

Re: Fair price for used rear end
If he's a friend,,,, trade with him! tell him you would rather owe it to him.. than cheat him out of it! your lucky to have someone close with something like that, you can work out a deal,, I'm sure.

Check the oil with a magnet, to make sure it's not full of metal particles.
Depending on the age, you may want to replace bearings and seals. Dana Axle: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...5-28148g01.pdf |
