those are some clean looking carts....if you have to pull all electronics, why not convert it to a controller and then that opens up a whole lot more speed and power

I'd say you got a bargain, pbillyi69, especially if the batteries are all good and it runs. I got batteries for mine and it runs just fine. I've got to fix the brakes and get it painted but it's a freakin' blast to ride around the old homestead. My wife and kids thought I was a little nuts to bring the poor old thing home, now they ride it more than me!

hey buck thanks i just tried to get it out of the trailer and i can't get it out it clicks when i try but i havent done anything to it at all looks like there is one newer battery in it and i have two more to put in tomorrow i will know more i tried to pull it out with my other cart and it acts like the brakes are stuck so tomorrow i will know more... im posting pics of it under the thread i started (old club car)

oh yeah i forgot to mention my whole family thinks im nuts i have a 91 gasser as well and i just ordered a lift wheels tires and a 18 hp with cam and rev kit last week they havent even arrived yet and now i've got another one to tinker with as well i kinda like the older one ya just don't them every day should be fun.......

for those of you that have 1 between 70-73 i have an origanal MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION MANUAL that i can make copys of and i also have complete parts list for 1974 got them when i bought my 79

I recently bought an older caroche, I believe it is a 1972. Checked the serial # stamped on the frame but the wiring on mine doesn't look the same as some pics I have seen. I would like to have any manuals you might have. My email is silveradoman2@msn.com. Also I am looking for a Club Car front emblem plate, mine is missing. Converted the batteries from 6 volt lead to a 42 lithium Ion battery. Cost $800.00 and works great.
