2006 OBC Bypass help. SORRY!!
I Have my 2006 CC with the IQ Plus System. i have read over and over the BYPASS sticky and i apologize for this. I am trying to bypass my 6 pin connector. Everything I read here says a about the white and blue wires. I followed the LESTER bypass which showed the blue and red wire spliced together and then connected to the gray wire at the charging port. That is what i did with an inline fuse. I just want to get it right. Should I be connecting and splicing different wires. I attached a photo of what i have. I still want my tow/run switch to work and everything. I complety removed my OBC. Any help with my confusion would be great. Thanks again and Im sorry to bring it up.

Re: 2006 OBC Bypass help. SORRY!!
Either one works, the red wire is always ON and the white wire is controlled by the Tow/Run switch.
Connecting the Blue and the White wire is the preferred method. Do not connect the gray wire to this splice. if You would like to retain the disable function when a charger is connected (and You have a compatible charger), I can post a wiring diagram to accomplish that. |

Thank you! So the red and blue with the grey? And the blue and white no grey? Do I leave the grey disconnected at the charge port with the white And blue method?

The gray wire needs to be disconnected either way. You need a resistor in there if You want to use the gray wire. |

Ok got it. So leave grey disconnected, connect blue and white at the six pin connector leaving the other 4 wires capped. Black from the charging port to the neg on the controller and red from the charging port to where my main positive is on my silonoid.
