Re: How to remove CC Precedent body?
I'd suggest investing in a CC manual for your Precedent, (I paid less then $30 which included a PDF and Book Manual.) It will save you much more in the long run.

Re: How to remove CC Precedent body?
I took mine off a little over a year ago for the same purpose. Now considering I can't remember what I did yesterday, I'll give this a shot.
The windshield, roof and seats and all the associated post's have to come off. The floor mat comes off and there are 3 screws at the bottom front of the main body. There are also screws along the battery compartment (maybe 6) that come off. Kinda remember there being some side pieces along the floor boards - left & right of the floor mats. Equilivent to rocker panels in a car. The front fits in groves around the black trim. I think the black piece along the top of the front nose needs to come off. Just need to lift gently on the pieces & see where it's being held down. Mark the bolts/screws where they come from, 'cause once ya get it painted, ya REALLY gots to be careful with the reaasembly! I don't have my car with me so I can't go look at it. Good luck - Dave |

Re: How to remove CC Precedent body?
Take the brow cap off of the cowl.... it's got 4 Torx head screws holding it on... Once it's off the cowl will pop right out... it just snaps into the front fascia. For the body... remove the F&R Switch box with a torx screwdriver, remove seat back assembly, remove the four torx head bolts under the seat. There's one in each corner. Thats the only screws holding the body down. Pull up on the body, the rear fenders will snap out of the underbody. It's a really simple process. Let me know if you've got any questions.

Re: How to remove CC Precedent body?
Out of curiosity, do the rear roof pillars need to be removed? Saw a good video on this but it was stripped down.
