Default I need 20 new Trojan T105 batteries - thoughts?

Hi, great site! I'm fixing up 3 EZGO carts I bought without batteries - 2 are 36V and 1 is 48V.

I'm looking to buy 20 new Trojan T105 batteries.

Can some-one recommend a good source for a good price?

I'm in the Houston area and can pick them up, or if you know a good online source that ships that would work too.

Would it be better to just buy a pallet load - any idea how many come in a pallet?

Thanks! Keith.

Do they have to be Trojans?
Is the 48v cart a conversion and does it use 8x6v batteries?

I'd also be trying to round up some dead cores to turn in... You're gonna get popped about $5-6 per battery that doesn't have a core turned in at the time of purchase..

Check out the Interstates available at Sam's Club here in Houston.. I have a set of 8V's I purchased for Ike back in April and they're performing flawlessly after a proper break-in..

Appreciate the replies!

Wrt brand/make, based on the reading I've done on this site, while I could save by buying another brand, I have decided on Trojans - period. So let's end that "always ends up heated" discussion now.

The 48v cart is stock - it takes eight 6V batteries. I am not planning to convert any of these carts.

Wrt cores I hear you - if you know of some-one locally sitting on a pile of dead ones please let me know - I'll pay them $10 for each dead core!

Thanks! Keith.

Just wanted to say that Joe at Continental Battery gave me an excellent deal on the 20 T-105's. They come 40 to a pallet (2 levels stacked 20 per level) and I got a lower level forklifted onto my trailer - all fresh matching T2's. Great guys - if you need batteries give them a call.

Hth!
