96 medalist solenoid testing
Hi,
I believe I have a bad solenoid on my 96 medalist. I have tested the voltage on the small terminals on the bottom of the solenoid and I get 38.6 volts. When press the accelerator i hear a click in the solenoid, but when I test the voltage on the larger terminals i get less than 1 volt, around .2 volts (cart is up on blocks!) should the reading be the same as the smaller terminals? Can i jump the 2 terminal to test it? Marco |

Re: 96 medalist solenoid testing
The small terminals are the activation circuit, never connect them to each other.
When the solenoid clicks you should have pack voltage (Positive) on both sides. connect black test lead to battery pack neg. and test 2 big terminals on the solenoid....... |
