Re: 94 e z go marathon has no low end torque
See if the clutch is sticking or the belt may not be going all the way to the bottom of the pulley.
My yamaha didnt pull good and I found that was my problem. Hope this helps. |

Re: 94 e z go marathon has no low end torque
It sounds like a battery problem. "starts out great" means everything is working... it sounds like after the initial surface charge is burned off the voltage drops?
Can you attach a voltmeter to the battery pack and go for a test drive? Give us starting voltage ~ Lowest voltage when running fine, then lowest voltage when slowing..... time, distance, and terrain would also be helpful info. |

Re: 94 e z go marathon has no low end torque
welcome, follow scottys advice it sure sounds like a battery issue.....load test them take readings with a hydrometer and make sure cables are clean and tight.........even new batteries can be bad have seen it plenty of times.......if your not sure post voltage readings and hydrometer readings.....................

Re: 94 e z go marathon has no low end torque
The batteries tested okay But the diode in between my too large lugs on my solinoid is getting very hot and it seems to me when it cools off it does it again would that diode cause a problem like that? and with the car off you get continuity in between the 2 large lugs and with it on you still get voltage on both sides what do you think???
