Re: Runs slow about 5 feet then stops
My 1999 DCS manual says probe the WHITE wire with the positive test lead, connect negative lead to Battery -.
Turn the key on, Directional selector in F, the meter should now read 0.4 - 0.6 v ... depress the peddle and meter should read on through to 1.5 -1.7 v |

Re: Runs slow about 5 feet then stops
Yes, That test is step 5 on Page E-8 of the manual and it tests fine. But step 2 and 3 of that same page is where my test showed 13.8 with the six pin connector plugged in and 14.0 with it unplugged and in step 3 it says of the voltage goes to 14-16 volts the ITS is faulty and must be replaced.
Maybe i needed to continue and only if step 5 failed then I should replace the ITS but step five tested fine. |

Re: Runs slow about 5 feet then stops
It is rare for the ITS to go bad.....
It is common for a DCS controller to fail. |
